What is Dozer Day®?

Dozer Day® is an immersive experience in the construction industry, with the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some of the largest machines the industry has to offer. Dozer Day® is also the perfect opportunity to connect with employers and learn about careers in the industry

When is Dozer Day®?

Dozer Day® Vancouver is on October 5 & 6, 2024. The event is open to the public from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The event opens 1-hour early on both Saturday and Sunday for our Very Important Operators (VIO); our valued sponsors and their guests. VIO ticket holders may enter Dozer Day® at 10:00 am, 1-hour before the general public. If you’re interested in this privilege, please visit our sponsors page to get involved.

Dozer Day® Vancouver is held at the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield, Washington (17402 NE Delfel Rd., Ridgefield WA 98642).

Who needs a ticket for entry into Dozer Day® Vancouver?

EVERY GUEST NEEDS AN ENTRY TICKET, REGARDLESS OF AGE.

Children 2 years of age and under can enter for no-charge but we do request adding the no-charge ticket to your ticket purchase – it helps us to adequately track attendance. We appreciate your assistance in advance!

Who should attend Dozer Day®?

Dozer Day® Vancouver is great for all ages!

Kids under 48 inches tall can hop into heavy construction equipment and operate machines guided by in-cab, experienced equipment operators.

For teens and adults – or kids over 48 inches tall – there are machines which can be operated solo. An experienced operator will be nearby to instruct, ensure safe operation, and answer any equipment-related questions.

In addition to big rigs, you’ll find activities for all ages such as the popular tire crawl, kids’ dig, skill contests, and sponsor giveaways.

Finally, many of the sponsors of Dozer Day® are actively recruiting for open positions in their companies. Attending Dozer Day® allows you to inquire directly with companies that understand the importance of investing in their community and employees.

Are Dozer Day® tickets refundable?

Tickets are NOT refundable or adjustable, but please be assured the donation benefits many great children’s charities. For a complete list of organizations that have benefitted from Dozer Day®, click here.

How much do Dozer Day® tickets and parking cost?

Pre-sale tickets for Dozer Day® are $15 for all guests over 2 years old. There is no charge for guests 2 years of age or younger. 

Ticket prices increase to $20 if purchased after 11:59 PM on October 4, 2024.

Everyone 2 years old and older needs a ticket for entry. Tickets are valid for one entry only (no re-entry will be permitted). 

Parking is $6 (cash or credit card).

Does Dozer Day® offer free tickets?

Children’s nonprofit organizations may be eligible for free or reduced-price tickets. Please email requests on non-profit letterhead along with IRS tax-exempt documentation to renee@nutterfoundation.org.

Are food options available at Dozer Day®?

Yes! We have a wide range of food and beverage vendors on-site during Dozer Day® Vancouver.

Are animals allowed at Dozer Day®?

Only government-recognized service animals are admitted for entry.

Can I volunteer to help at Dozer Day®?

Yes, we would be grateful to have you join the Dozer Day® Volunteer Team! Please visit our volunteer page for details.

How do I request a grant from Dozer Day®?

Nonprofits may apply for grant funding online.

Where did Dozer Day® start?

The first “Dozer Day” was held in Wisconsin hosted by Halquist Stone and benefited local schools. In 2008, the Nutter Family Foundation acquired the rights to Dozer Day® and trademarked the event. We now share Dozer Day® with partners throughout the United States. View locations.
